Hello young ISHAM-members!

We have the following news for you:

The number of local representatives for The Young ISHAM is increasing monthly. This month we welcome Luciana Karayan from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she will be the representative for Argentina. You can e-mail her on luciana.youngisham@gmail.com. Please visit our website at http://www.young.isham.org/  to find out who already became a representative for The Young ISHAM. In the case that you would like to join our team and want to become a representative for your country, please e-mail Ela Lackner (ela.youngisham@gmail.com) or Ferry (ferry.youngisham@gmail.com).

During the past months we have received quite some e-mails from mainly medical students who found the age-limit of 35 years too low and therefore we decided to raise this to 40 years young. So, if you are a member of ISHAM and 40 years or younger you are now automatically a member of The Young ISHAM.

If you are not yet a member of the Young ISHAM but want to become a member, please visit our website http://www.young.isham.org/ or go directly to http://shop.isham.org/ were you can now become easily a member via our new payment system. This new system is more convenient than the previous one.

In 2012, ISHAM is organizing the next ISHAM congress in Berlin, Germany, and The Young ISHAM will be part of that to represent the young medical mycologists. If you have a sparkling bright idea to bring The Young ISHAM in the spotlights during the congress (but also before that time), please let us know!

Greetings from The Young ISHAM team!

Hamid, Prakash, Ana, Luciana, Anne-Lise, Luciana, Kasper, Ela and Ferry
