ISHAM VOTING INSTRUCTIONS
Dear ISHAM member, This is an announcement from the General Secretary.
You are being asked to vote on two issues:
Council Members 2009-2012
Two nominations were received for the post of President-Elect. Brief CV’s can be found here. The candidates are listed in alphabetical order:

Gioconda San-Blas (Venezuela)
One nomination was received for the post of General Secretary (Peter Donnelly, The Netherlands).
One nomination was received for the post of Treasurer (Gerhard Haase, Germany).
Eight nominations were received for five Vice President positions. Brief CVs can be found here. The candidates are listed below in alphabetical order:

ISHAM Statues and By-Laws
The ISHAM Statutes and By-Laws have been reviewed and extensively revised with the full support of the Council, to reflect and accommodate changes in the way in which ISHAM conducts its business and with a view of improving some governance issues of the Society.
Members are kindly requested to vote for all or none of these changes (yes/no).
If you have any specific comments on particular articles of statutes or
by-laws, you may send an e-mail to the General Secretary via the “Contact”
button at the lower right. If we receive your comment before 1 April 2009, we
will put your item at the agenda of the ISHAM General Assembly to be held at
the ISHAM congress in Tokyo, Thursday May 28 at 10.45 AM, for plenary
discussion.
Only one bid for the ISHAM 2012 Congress was received: Germany (Berlin).
We urge you to exercise your voting right and participate in this election.
