Welcome to the One Health United Meeting 2026
Dear friends and colleagues,
It is our great honor and pleasure to warmly invite you to join the One Health United Meeting 2026, taking place 23–25 September 2026 in Innsbruck, Austria. This event combines the PhD-United One Health Meeting (23–24 September) and the ECMM / ISHAM-United Working Group Meeting (24–25 September). It will bring together PhD students, early-career researchers, and established experts working across diverse One Health topics. Hosted by the Medical University of Innsbruck, the event takes place in the charming alpine city of Innsbruck, surrounded by the spectacular European Alps, an inspiring setting for networking, exchanging ideas, and building new collaborations! Abstracts for the PhD-United One Health Meeting deadline is 05.07.2026. The accepted abstracts will be edited and published in the journal One Health Mycology.
What to expect from the meeting?
The One Health–United Meeting 2026 brings together leading experts and early-career researchers in a dynamic, collaborative environment designed to spark new ideas and partnerships. With a primary focus on medical mycology and antifungal resistance, alongside key perspectives on antibacterial resistance in the first part of the event, the meeting aims to strengthen collaboration and drive coordinated global action within the One Health framework.
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to outputs including the publication of accepted abstracts in One Health Mycology journal. In addition, the ISHAM/ECMM–United Meeting is expected to result in a joint position paper addressing critical knowledge gaps and outlining future priorities in the field.
