Welcome to the 21th INFOCUS, which will be held in Iguazu Falls, Brazil, the largest waterfall system in the world. INFOCUS or The Latin American Forum of Fungal Infections in Clinical Practice was created 21 years ago, and at present constitutes the main scientific event on fungal infections in Latin America.
The event will bring together different health professionals, seeking updated knowledge related to the epidemiology, clinical course, diagnosis, treatment, and prophylaxis of mycotic infections.
The INFOCUS annual meeting enables Clinicians, Microbiologists, Pharmacists, Biomedical and other Health Professionals to discuss and update everything related to fungal infections.
Come to Iguazu Falls, attend INFOCUS 2020 and be astonished with the colossal power of the thundering falls, between Brazil and Argentina. We will offer you a warm welcome and guaranteed you will find a most stimulating program of plenary sessions and abstracts. Workshop on black yeast and allied fungi in Adana, Turkey, 11-12 May 2023, is taking shape. The workshop will cover environmental black fungi, where a main theme will be extremotolerance, as well as medical aspects, with developments on hromoblastomycosis and CARD9-related disease.
The workshop venue will be the Ramada Hotel in Adana (https://www.ramadaadana.com/)in the heart of the city center. We hope you will be able to join physically, to experience the pleasant atmosphere of our workshops, and to enjoy Turkish hospitality. All participants are invited to present their work, which provides an excellent opportunity for students to give a talk for an international public. We are delighted to announce the V International Symposium on Fungal Stress – ISFUS, hosted by the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, in
The symposium will bring together key scientists from around the world interested in the biology of fungal stress and applications in extremophiles, fungal pathogenesis in both human and plant, agricultural biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, astrobiology, and other fundamental and applied mycology areas.
The symposium has limited attendants (160) to allow interactions, cross-cutting discussions, and a convivial atmosphere. We welcome scientists from

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 8th Congress of Asia and Pacific Society for Medical Mycology (APSMM) will be held in Kyoto from November 6th to 9th, 2024.
APSMM was established in 1997 to promote professional and social exchange among medical mycologists in the Asia-Pacific region. The first congress was held in Bali, Indonesia in 1997 (Professor Unandar Budimulja). Since then, successful congresses have been held in Kunming, China (Professor Duanli Wang) in 2001, Bangkok, Thailand (Professor Preya Kullavanijaya) in 2005, Seoul, Korea (Professor Byung In Ro) in 2009, Chengdu, China (Professor Yuping Ran) in 2013, Bali, Indonesia (Professor Kusmarinah Bramono) in 2016, and Guangzhou, China (Professor Liyan Xi) in 2019.
It is our pleasure to host the APSMM Congress for the first time in Japan, and we have chosen Kyoto, one of Japan's ancient capitals, as the venue. Kyoto is home to numerous historic buildings and offers a glimpse into Japan's culture and traditions. The city boasts beautiful landscapes that change with the seasons, with November being an ideal time to enjoy the autumn foliage. Additionally, Kyoto is known for its exceptional cuisine, which is a highlight of Japanese food culture.
We look forward to welcoming you to Kyoto and to facilitating fruitful professional and social exchanges among participants from various countries.
