Medical Mycology Case Reports: looking for new members on our editorial board.

We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues, with clinical experience in the management of fungal infections, to join our editorial board. MMCR is a journal dedicated to publishing case reports or small case studies of fungal infections in humans or animals. We publish reports with an educational value and to share clinical experience in terms of recognizing, diagnosing, treating, or preventing fungal infections and disease. The criteria we use for publication is that a case report or a small case study provides our readers with a novelty in any aspect of the fungal infection, e.g. from detection, clinical presentation to management and outcome.

As an editorial board, we are reviewing the submissions ourselves, and in terms of time commitment, as an editorial board member you will be expected to review an average 2 manuscripts each month. We are proud to have a quick turn-around time and on average the time from submission to first decision is 3 weeks.

We are particularly interested in junior colleagues wishing to obtain experience in performing peer-review and to become a member of our editorial board.

If this is something for you, please send us your motivation (max 300 words) and a 2-page CV, and we will be in touch.
